Tommy Stevens is the director of environmental services for the North Carolina Pork Council (NCPC) in Raleigh, NC. Tommy is responsible for monitoring state and federal environmental legislation and providing input into state regulatory rules that apply to the pork industry. Tommy also serves on the NCPC’s Environmental Committee that provides input into federal environmental issues through its work with the Environmental Protection Agency, the United States Department of Agriculture and the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

NC Lung Cancer Partnership |

The North Carolina Lung Cancer Partnership is the first state chapter of National Lung Cancer Partnership.
Founded in 2006 as North Carolinians Against Lung Cancer, the nonprofit organization became a state chapter of the Partnership in 2008 and holds several events in North Carolina each year to support lung cancer research, awareness and change. Members include health care professionals, lung cancer survivors and advocates dedicated to decreasing deaths due to lung cancer and helping patients live longer and better.

Our 3rd Annual Family Day. Started in 2008 by past member Christine Kent, this is your opportunity to spend a day with your two families. Bring your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and more to get a head start on your Thanksgiving celebration.
We will be serving fun foods - hot dogs, hamburgers, mac n' cheese, & more - for all to enjoy.

Announcing this year's Triangle Uncorked Saturday, September 25th
2PM - 6PM

Triangle Uncorked is the Triangle Area's premier casual wine tasting with HUNDREDS of wines available for tasting. Each participant is provided a souvenir tasting glass, tasting notes brochure and order form. Stroll from table to table and tent to tent with your wine glass while relaxing in the beautiful green setting of the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Regency Park.
Bring a blanket and stay for the afternoon! Lawn chairs and picnic baskets are allowed.
2010 brings the return of the increasingly popular VIP Tasting Tent.
Inside the VIP tent, guests will able to sample more premium wines, enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and relax with table seating. VIP tent access is an additional charge to the general admission ticket but is open to everyone while supplies last.
