Triangle Uncorked chairman Marvin Pinckney with crutches and his niece were at the event very early. Thank you for all you did!!! Special entrance for all volunteers. Jack Andrews and Steve Wood with a very lovely volunteer from Frankie Lemmon, Jill. Rotarians are looking to the sky hoping for NO RAIN! Grounds are quiet just before the 2:00 PM opening These vendors may be part of Carolina Distributing; but THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT THE JOHNSON BROTHERS! The Iceman Cometh aka Jeff Farnham Vender showing his company You can tell that these folks are from Trader Joes by their shirts from Hawaii. Also, Trader Joes wss a major sponsor. Look for the newest TJ's to open at the end of October just up the road from COSTCO in Raleigh. Are the shirts these vendors are wearing BURGUNDY in color on purpose? 3 very happy wine vendors
When you tasted from MUTUAL the vendors said the feeling was MUTUAL! Happy wine vendors. There's white wine, red wine, burgundy wine, but NO BLACK WINE. Very cool looking reps from Bianchi Our partners in Triangle Uncorked, the Frankie Lemmon School. What goes better than a beautiful custom designed phot frame and a glass of wine?
Jewelry and unique women's accessories also go well with a great wine. 4 Epicurs Wines are also great For Humanity Despite the gloomy and wet weather the number of tasters was terrific! These 2 women not only love to give out large glasses for wine but, come Christmas, they fill each glass with wine and then rub the rims to make holiday music.
Jake and JJ Jolliff receive samples (but they were NOT on duty as volunteers at the time they tasted). Charlie, Jeff, JT and Gene sold and drank water,ONLY! No wine allowed. This fellow had pretzels on his glass holder and wanted to have his photo taken. Done! An old saying: You don't have to drink wine in order to have fun.
Ping Pong and Jorge Ferreira make a great couple. Erik Grunwald is proud of all his girls. Who says you can't read a good book, drink wine and sit in the rain and still have a great time? Check out the cool eyeglasses (on the left) and the happy wine tasters. A very happy couple sitting in the rain.

Father John Monroe and son. L-R: Mike and Elizabeth Sauer,Jae Lee And wife Andrea Michell. Mike is Andrea's brother. What a great looking quartet! Very pretty wine tasters!! It may have been raining but the crowds still came to sample and enjoy the afternoon.
Greg Wallace with his daughter Meghan and her friend Sam Heathcote Jake and JJ enjoyed the afternoon. This couple now reside in Raleigh, but they are from Cheyenne, Wyoming and you can tell! This man just won the JAY LENO LOOK ALIKE contest! His fan club surrounds him. What a job for a Past President! Check-out the shades. It wasn't even sunny for a minute!
