L-R: President Jim Morgan, students: Rachel Coffman, Summer Swango, Derek Dittmar, Sarah Wiggins plus our own Jesse Schaudies pose after the awards for best speeches were handed out. 14 year old 9th grader Rachel Coffman delivers her speech. 15 year old 10th grader Summer Swango delivers her speech. 16 year old 10th grader Derek Dittmar delivers his speech. Speech Contest Committee Chairman Jesse Schaudies is NOT sleeping! He is deliberating. Jesse is listening as each of the four Sanderson High School students delivers his/her speech about Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention.
14 year old 9th grader Sarah Wiggins delivers her speech. Fourth place winner Sarah Wiggins with her beaming parents. Third place winner Summer poses with Sanderson HS teacher Tim Gillespie Second place winner Rachel Coffman and her very proud mom. First place winner, Derek Dittmar, with his mom and dad show their happiness.
