Four-Way Test Essay Contest
Each year, RCNR sponsors a Four-Way Test Essay competition among middle school students. Under the supervision of the English Department, students are asked to write essays on the principles of the Rotary 4-Way Test. The winners are invited to share their essays at an RCNR meeting and the winners earn cash prizes. The first place winner's essay is also submitted to our district competition.

Alex Wilson Awards
The Alex Wilson Award was established to recognize outstanding high school students who personify the Four-Way Test. Each year, the guidance counselors of Sanderson and Millbrook High Schools select one student from each school, and the winners are recognized at an RCNR meeting in the spring. Each winner receives cash and their name is engraved on a plaque located in their school. Alex Wilson served as President of the West Raleigh Club and helped the RCNR in 1967.
